The Disability Screen Office is thrilled to share that thanks to generous support from Ontario Creates, On Screen Manitoba, and BANFF World Media Festival, we will be bringing a delegation of disabled creatives to BANFF 2026 (June 14-17, Banff, AB) to access curated conversations, masterclasses, case studies and networking sessions.

We’re pleased to provide this opportunity to disabled creatives across Ontario and Manitoba. There are 2 spots available. One spot is specifically reserved for a Manitoba-based disabled creative who is Francophone and/or Indigenous, and the second spot is for a disabled creative living in Ontario.

Delegates will receive one (1) complimentary Festival Pass valid for the length of the festival, as well as flights, 4 nights’ accommodations (June 13-17, 2026), ground transportation between Calgary International Airport and Banff as well as in-Banff ground transportation, and a per diem. All delegates will receive any accessibility services required to fully participate in the festival.

This program is offered to persons with disabilities who historically, statistically, and currently face barriers in accessing opportunities in the screen industry. This delegation opportunity is best intended for producers, writers, and individuals working in business affairs in the screen industry, ideally those with projects ready to pitch. The Disability Screen Office jury will be evaluating applicants based on your current role in the industry, how you will benefit from attending the festival, and how participating in this delegation will support your future goals. Recognizing the multiple barriers that persons with disabilities with intersecting identities experience, we strongly encourage applications from people with disabilities across all dimensions of diversity.
